Wonder Music Group
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Wonder Music Group (WDM) digital music distribution platform. By creating an account or submitting a release you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to everything below.
1. Accounts and artist identity
You must register with your full legal name and a valid email address, and verify the email before signing in. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account.
Each account carries exactly one artist identity, created together with your first release. If you claim an existing artist already on stores, you must provide an accurate Spotify profile link (Apple Music and ZingMP3 where available) and may only claim an identity that belongs to you. Once created, the artist name is locked for every later release; renaming requires contacting the WDM team.
2. Ownership and distribution license
You keep full ownership of your recordings and works. By submitting a release you grant WDM a non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to host, technically reproduce, distribute and deliver the recordings to the stores you selected, including creating official TikTok sounds at the time ranges you specify.
The license lasts while the release remains active on the platform and ends when the release is taken down at your request or by a moderation decision.
3. Content warranties
- You own, or hold all necessary rights to, the recordings, compositions, lyrics and cover art in your release.
- The declared metadata (release title, artist, composer, lyrics, instrumental flag) is accurate and truthful.
- Cover art is square, at least 3000×3000px, and free of copyright-, trademark- or law-infringing material.
- Audio files are WAV/FLAC and every track is at least 60 seconds long.
- The content contains no hate speech, child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, or other unlawful material.
4. Review and release
Every release goes through WDM review (usually 1–5 business days). We may request changes, reject, or take down releases that violate these Terms without refunding any fees. Actual live dates depend on each store's processing time; schedule your release at least 2 weeks ahead.
5. Revenue and payouts
Revenue is reconciled quarterly from store reports and allocated to each recording via its ISRC. The revenue share applied is the one agreed on your account.
To receive payouts you must complete your payout profile (PayPal or bank account) under Payout Settings. WDM is not liable for delays caused by missing or incorrect payment details.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Stream manipulation of any kind (streaming farms, bots, purchased plays).
- Distributing content you have no rights to, impersonating another artist, or misrepresenting your identity.
- Abusing the platform (release spam, evading monthly limits with multiple accounts).
Violations may lead to upload locks, catalog-wide takedowns, permanent account bans, and withholding of revenue connected to fraudulent activity.
7. Takedowns and termination
You may request a takedown of any release at any time; removal timing depends on each store. If the account is terminated, reconciled but unpaid revenue is still paid out in the next cycle.
8. Changes and contact
WDM may update these Terms; material changes are announced by email or on the platform and take effect upon publication. Continuing to use the service means accepting the updated Terms.
